BIDDING & PAYMENTS

• Opening bid for each stud dog is $1,000.
• Bids increase in $100 increments.
• Winning bidder must make payment to Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac (LRCP, Inc.) at the close of the auction.
• Payments in person may be made by cash, check, or Square invoice.
• Online payments may ONLY BE PAID by Square invoice.
• For Square payments there will be a link to pay on your emailed invoice, and a
  2.6% convenience fee will be added.
• If payment is not made at the close of auction the stud service will be offered to
  the reserve bidder.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• This auction is for stud service ONLY.
• Bidder/bitch owner is solely responsible for all shipping costs, semen shipping boxes/containers, progesterone testing, storage costs(frozen), extender, and fees for collection of stud dog by veterinarian if required.
• Stud service is valid for one years from the purchase date unless otherwise stated.
• Stud service is non-transferable and may not be sold.
• Stud service is for use on one bitch you own or co-own.
• This stud service donation may not be used by the winning bidder to fulfill the terms of an existing contract or agreement to use the same stud dog.
• Bitch must meet stud dog owner’s approval and all requirements for clearances as set forth by stud dog owner and does not carry the dilute gene.
• Stud owner has right of refusal regarding the winning bidder. If winning bid is refused, the second-place bid wins the auction.
• If the stud dog is not available at the time of service, the stud dog owner has the right to offer an alternative or substitute (if available) to the winning bidder.
• Return/repeat services for fresh chilled breedings will be governed by the stud dog owner’s normal policy/guarantee as if stud fee was paid in full at time of breeding. If the repeat breeding exceeds the one-year window, it is left to the discretion of the stud dog owner to honor the original agreement.
• There are no repeats on frozen semen. Unless otherwise stated only one breeding unit will be provided as defined by the reproductive specialist who collected and stored the semen, with stud dog owner approval.
• There will be no refunds, credits or substitutions offered by LRCP in the event the stud dog is not available at the time of service.
• Donation of and/or purchase of a stud service creates a binding contract between the stud dog owner and the bitch owner. The club and any of its members are NOT responsible in any event for any accident, breach of contract, or other incident arising by or between the buyer, the seller, or any other persons with respect to the stud service auction or any aspect thereof.
• By bidding, you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless the LRCP, its agents and members, from any and all liability, loss, damage, expense, causes of action, suits, claims or judgments resulting from or arising out of participation in this stud service auction.

BE SURE TO REVIEW STUD DOG DETAILS AND ANY LINKS PROVIDED AND CONTACT STUD DOG OWNER PRIOR TO BIDDING WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. LRC DOES NOT ENDORSE ONE STUD DOG OVER ANOTHER.

THE LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB OF THE POTOMAC IS RELYING ON THE MATERIAL AND INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE STUD DOG OWNER FOR EACH STUD DOG AND WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS ACCURACY OR REPRESENTATION.
