We have enabled proxy bidding which allows you to enter your maximum bid upfront, and the system will automatically increase your displayed bid only as needed to keep you ahead of competing bids, up to your set maximum. Your maximum bid amount is kept private within the bidding system. Online bidding will close October 1 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. The highest online bid at that time will become the opening/high bid for continued in-person bidding at the Banquet. Online bidders do not need to be present at the Banquet to remain eligible; however, unless other arrangements are specifically announced by LRC, online bidders will not be able to submit additional bids after online bidding closes. The stud service will be awarded to the highest bidder at the conclusion of in-person bidding at the Banquet.

RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

• This auction is for stud service ONLY. Any breeding expenses are the responsibility of the bitch owner including, but not limited to, extender, semen shipping boxes, veterinarian fees, and shipping costs.
• No bidding is allowed for anyone other than yourself. Only the name of the person doing the bidding will be awarded the stud service, which is NON-TRANSFERABLE.
• Winning stud services are valid for two (2) years from date of purchase, except Ford, Bones and Tolf, whose services are valid for one (1) year.
• Stud service is for use on one bitch you own or co-own.
• The female the service will be used on must be an AKC/CKC registered Labrador Retriever, at least two years old, black, chocolate or yellow, and must not exhibit a dilute gene nor any disqualifying traits per the AKC/CKC standard.      
• Bitches must have the appropriate health clearances as set forth by each individual stud owner. Bidders are responsible for reviewing the individual stud dog’s requirements and contacting the stud dog owner before bidding if they have questions concerning eligibility, health clearances, breeding method, semen availability, or other conditions of the service.
• Payment must be made payable to The Labrador Retriever Club by the end of the Banquet.
• If payment is not made within 24 hours, the stud service will be offered to the next highest eligible bidder, subject to the same terms and conditions.
• Semen shipments will only be sent to addresses in the USA or Canada.
• If a stud dog is not available for an unforeseeable legitimate reason (death, sterility, illness, etc.), the stud dog owner is encouraged to offer a substitute. There will be no refunds. Any substitute is at the discretion of and by agreement with the stud dog owner. LRC is not responsible for providing a substitute, refund, or credit.
• Bitches who miss (do not conceive) will receive ONE repeat mating on live stud dogs; there are no repeats on frozen semen. For frozen semen services, unless otherwise specifically stated in the individual stud dog’s auction listing, the service provides one breeding unit as defined by the reproductive specialist who collected and/or stores the semen and as authorized by the stud dog owner.
• Negative Brucella canis testing within 90 days of breeding is highly suggested on both bitch and stud — or, in the case of frozen semen, at the time of collection and freezing.
• The donation and purchase of a stud service creates an agreement concerning the breeding between the stud dog owner and the winning bidder/bitch owner. LRC facilitates the auction but is not a party to the breeding agreement and is not responsible for the performance of either party, breeding results, semen quality or viability, shipping or storage, veterinary services, or any dispute arising from use of the purchased stud service.
• Information concerning each stud dog, including health information, breeding requirements, semen availability, collection information and other representations, is supplied by the stud dog owner. LRC relies upon the information provided and does not independently verify or warrant its accuracy.
• By bidding, each bidder acknowledges and agrees to these Rules, Terms & Conditions.

Please respect the breeders of these quality boys by acknowledging a minimum bid of $1,000 with bidding increments of $100. Much research, time, money, effort and love go into producing dogs of this quality.
